Journal of Translation Practice and Research (ISSN 2997-0954) is a quarterly international academic journal published by American Classic Press. It is the platform for English translation of classic literature, and studies on translation theory, literary translation, non-literary translation, translation training, translation techniques, AI translation, and translation industry.

Journal of Translation Practice and Research invites original, previously unpublished research papers written in English on theoretical or practical aspects of translation studies from academics, professionals, educators, practitioners and Ph. D students in the field. This journal requires articles to have a sound theoretical base and a visible practical application for a broad readership. Review articles are considered for publication if they deal with critical issues in translation theory with significant implications for practice and research.

Journal of Translation Practice and Research operates a double anonymized review process. All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles.
